Machinarium is an independent puzzle-platformer video game that was released on September 19, 2009 by Czech video game developer Amanita Design. The player controls a robot named Josef, who has been thrown out of a window and, as a result, wound up on a scrap heap. The player has to escape the scrap heap and the city to get back to his girlfriend.
